The Ph.D. curriculum produces scholars and independent researchers. The Ph.D. is a research-oriented degree. All doctoral scholars in the KASBIT are expected to learn how to analyze and synthesize the research literature in a chosen field; how to plan and initiate original research; and how to translate research findings into implications for educational practice. Our program is unique, offering an integrated curriculum. The first year of study includes theoretical orientations and content underlying the knowledge base of business management. The second year turns to a more individualized program of study. A curriculum plan is developed by each student and the advisor, focusing on an area of specialization within the field of Management Sciences.
